Any Sanskrit term on closer examination turns out to be not just a separate word, and the whole multi-faceted and multi-valued concept. This is fully valid for the term "Bhakti". It can be interpreted as a love and as unselfish and as a sincere devotion to the Deity or Guru is a teacher.
